I have been an admirer of Lisa’s work for years, she is in my opinion the best in her field! Her work is sublime and I think that she makes every women look their best, because even with visible make up on she achieves to give them a very natural look. When you look at her work you can’t say that it is too much or not much, it is just perfection!

“With over 20 years of experience, Lisa Eldridge is one of the most highly regarded make-up artists on the international beauty and fashion circuits. Whether she’s called upon to create her signature look, best described as fresh and flawless or to work her magic for the catwalk or on editorial shoots, her understated, modern approach to beauty has made her indispensable to designers, magazine editors, art directors and celebrities alike. Through her online make-up tutorials, and her role as resident on-screen beauty expert for three seasons of Channel 4’s successful series ‘Ten Years Younger, Lisa has become one of the most recognized faces in the beauty industry, both in the UK and internationally.” [Extracted from her website] Read more here.

What I like the most about her and her work is the fact that she shares her knowledge on Youtube tutorials. On her page you can find ANYTHING! From summer looks to celebrities, from products demonstrations to magazine looks. It is a big, a huuge source of information for make up aficionados, professionals and the ones like me, who occasionally put make up on. She also makes everything much easier for us showing all the products that she uses and all new releases, which are mostly very accessible to the public. I can not forget to mention that her videos are beautifully made and catching, her voice and her accent are definitely a grabber.

I have learned to value even more the work of a make up artist, as a photographer it is crucial to have a good make up artist by my side, a flawless make up can save me tons of time on retouching, also my clients feel confident and it shows on their photos. I wish I could have Lisa working with me as well! Making everyday women look fabulous!  Am I asking too much? Haha

This video tutorial is WONDERFUL!! And she has lots more.  The Audrey Hepburn make up tutorial is another one that you have to check out.

I hope you find this post helpful and join Lisa’s journey in the make up world!

You can also find her on Facebook.

Have a wonderful week!
